phtz @ 9:38am: wtb input
So, I'm getting a wee spot of cash for Christmas from my grandma. The requirement is that I spend it on any kind of class/learning (not necessarily for career, hobby is fine as well -- my grandma is a painter, so she digs that kind of thing).

So there are a few options. I could do some remote Comp Sci type computer courses, which if I'm honest... I'm not all that into. Work covers my Cisco training... so I need some inspiration.

I'm pretty huge on music, but I've never really been able to figure out most production tools. Mostly because I get frustrated and don't fully understand the concepts of mastering and stuff like that. Also, while I did play the organ when I was younger, I'm not really an amazing keyboardist. I'm actually pretty terrible. I can't keyboard-style play a bunch of chords to create a song, however I can lay them out note by note if I'm spending some time on something. This may devalue my idea, so... thoughts on maybe taking a level 1 production course at IntoMusic (formerly Precursor)? I'm not really sure as to the reputability of the course, or ciriculum, so feedback on that would be awesome, but moreso... is the idea sound? (DO YOU SEE WHAT I DID THERE?)

Herp dee derp? WTB your thoughts... right now. Go.
